Our process
STEP 1- PREPARE AREA
We cover your entire room with paper and rolled plastic to ensure your
belongings are safe. We also set up an exhaust ventilation fan system which
controls odors.
STEP 2- PREPARE SURFACE
Surface is cleaned with an etching cleaner and a bonding agent is
applied to degloss the surface and create mocroscopic pores which
allows our coatings to penetrate the surface and not just sit on top. This
step is crucial as an unproperly prepared surface will lead to peeling issues.
STEP 3- MAKE REPAIRS
Any chips or cracks are filled. When the process is finished these repairs will
be undetectable.
STEP 4- APPLY PRIMER
Two coats of adhesive primer are applied to the surface.
STEP 5- APPLY TOPCOAT
Three coats of topcoat are applied. Advantage Refinishing uses
only safe acrylic coatings.
